These one- and two-bedroom condos feature all the comforts of home in a modern country style. Both units include a master bedroom with a king-size bed and a queen-size Murphy bed in the living room. Guests will also enjoy a full kitchen, cable television, CD player, VCR/DVD player, clock radio, private deck with a gas barbecue, telephone, gas fireplace, and a full-size washer and dryer. Also included is a starter supply of spices, coffee, paper towels, tissues, toilet paper, and laundry soap. All units are non-smoking.<br><br> **There is no daily housekeeping at this resort. Big Bear is a place enriched in history, recreation and beautiful scenery. Big Bear, California was first occupied by the Serrano Indians around 3,000 years ago. It was later occupied by pioneers during the pursuit of land. Due to the abundance of bears that dwelled in the area, it was later named Big Bear by settlers. Settlers later came to this area in pursuit of gold. While in Big Bear, visit the Pacific Crest National Scenic Trail or go to Eleanor Abbott Big Bear Museum and discover the history of Big Bear. Outdoor enthusiasts will enjoy the Snow Summit Ski Resort and the Alpine Slide water park. Other outdoor activities include skiing, hiking, four-wheeling, horseback rididng, fishing, snowmobiling, and boating. |

| Driving Directions
204 Starvation Flats Road, Big Bear Lake, CA - From Ontario International Airport: Drive North onto I-15 to I-10. Go East to Highway 30. Take Highway 30 North to Highway 330 until you reach Running Springs (Highway 18). Proceed on Highway 18 for 20 miles until you see signs for Big Bear Lake/Big Bear City. Bear right at the yield sign. Cross the dam and travel 4-1/2 miles until the first stop sign at Pine Knot Avenue. Turn left on Pine Knot and drive 1/4 mile to the stoplight at Big Bear Boulevard. Turn right on Big Bear Boulevard. Drive two miles to the 7th stoplight at Starvation Flats Road/Stanfield Cutoff. There is an ARCO station on the right. Turn right and continue for a 1/4 mile to the resort office on the right. |
