Standing on the highway where visitors "get their kicks," as the song says, the Lodge on Route 66 in Williams, Arizona, puts guests close to the Grand Canyon Railway, antique shops, restaurants, Williams Ski Area, Snow Bowl Ski, Deer Farm, Elephant Rock Golf Course, Grand Canyon and Mainstreet Museum along this historic highway. Known as the "Gateway to the Grand Canyon," Williams is nestled in the heart of the Kaibab National Forest at an elevation of 6,770 feet. Recreational enthusiasts also are close to seven lakes and near plenty of opportunities for fishing, hunting, hiking, biking, alpine skiing, cross-country ski trails, abundant wildlife, and phenomenal sunrises and sunsets.
The Lodge features nine guestrooms and nine suites, keeping with the entire building's Southwestern architecture. The rooms feature fireplaces, stainless- steel appliances, 100-percent cotton linens, pillow-top mattresses, oak hardwood or travertine flooring, and flat-screen TVs.
