The Louis Phaethon Beach is a modern hotel situated opposite Yeroskipou Beach, three kilometres from Paphos Harbour, and five from the old town. The 422 air- conditioned guestrooms have a modern decor with patterned fabrics and oak furnishings. All open out on to balconies with sea or land views, and include cable television, safes, telephones, and hair dryers.
Guests can enjoy a refreshing dip the outdoor pool, which has a separate area for kids. Children are also well catered for with the Family World Centre: a full-service childcare centre including an impressive pirate-ship climbing frame. For total relaxation, there is a spa area with steam room, sauna, hot tub, indoor pool, and massage treatments available on request. The Esperides restaurant serves regional and international buffets in a bright, spacious dining room with wall-length windows while the Helios Pool Restaurant has a buffet including light lunches and snacks. There are also three bars and a nightclub with regular professional entertainment including cabaret shows, dances, competitions, and theme shows. The hotel's private beach offers guests complimentary use of canoes and pedaloes as well as being the location for many other water sports like jet skiing, paragliding, and banana boating, available for a fee. Back from the beach the resort is home to tennis, basketball, and badminton courts, a fully-equipped gym, and facilities for archery and petanque. Families can enjoy a fun day out at the water park 100 metres away, visit Paphos Harbour and the Tombs of the Kings both three kilometres away, and stroll round Paphos old town five kilometres away; bicycles are available to rent from the hotel. The hotel is ten kilometres from Paphos Airport, around 15 minutes by car.

Taxis are available from the airport. Higher prices apply late evening and early morning. Intercity buses also connect the airport with all major towns and cities in Cyprus. From the airport take the Paphos- Limassol road to the village of Yeroskipou, and the hotel is situated on Municipality Beach. |
