Set on a secluded hillside and along beach coves, the Northolme Hotel & Spa is a luxury Seychellois hotel built in traditional style and located seven kilometres from Victoria. The 40 villas are built on stilts and blend colonial and contemporary décor with fabrics from Asia and the Far East. All feature furnished balconies with daybeds, dining tables and sun loungers and black granite bathrooms with Italian ceramic sinks, rainfall showers, jetted tubs and sea views. Modern amenities include air conditioning, wireless Internet connections, LCD flat-screen satellite televisions with DVD players, direct-dial phones and minibars.
The hotel offers a number of dining options: the open-air Hilltop Restaurant serves international and Creole food from themed buffets and live cooking stations and has panoramic views, Le Cocotier offers traditional Creole and international cuisine along with an extensive wine list in an open-aired setting with glass panelled French doors and the Ocean View Bar is set on two levels of decking overlooking the ocean and serves snacks, pastries and afternoon tea. Guests can work out in the fully-equipped fitness room, go for a refreshing dip in the hotel's infinity pool with a three-level deck overlooking the sea and pamper themselves at the Duniye Spa, which offers a variety of treatments including Thai and Balinese massage, exotic body treatments and volcanic clay wraps. The Crow's Nest is a multi-function space with a pool table, table tennis, a plasma-screen TV and a library and those on business will benefit from the hotel's meeting room and range of audio-visual equipment. Hotel entertainment includes dance shows and Seychelles culture and history seminars and guests can browse the hotel gift shop, jewellers and craft shop. Beau Vallon Bay Beach and the Casino are five kilometres away and the Botanic Gardens and National Museum are at a seven kilometre distance.
