Seventies architecture prevails in this retro-style complex which is set in tropical gardens facing surfing hotspot Tamarin Bay on the island's west coast. Parquet floors, bright fabrics and wood furnishings combine with kitsch touches in the air-conditioned guestrooms, all of which minibars, televisions and tea and coffee making facilities.
Guests can enjoy international buffet breakfast and lunches on the terrace and in the evening dine a la carte in the Bamboo Lounge to the accompaniment of live classical and jazz piano music. Approximate driving time to Mauritius International Airport (MRU) is 60 minutes and distance is 45 kilometres (28 miles). Taxis and an airport shuttle bus are available to make the journey between the airport and the hotel.
