The Cotton Bay Hotel is a tropical resort complex set on a white sandy beach by the Indian Ocean, 11 kilometres from the capital, Port Mathurin, and 21 kilometres from the airport. The 48 air-conditioned, bungalow-style guestrooms open onto balconies with ocean views and feature bright, tropical decor and mahogany furniture. All are equipped with ceiling fans, satellite television, music systems, minibars and safes. Bathrooms include showers and hair dryers.
The hotel has two pools, one for adults and one for children, and offers a range of activities to keep both kids and adults amused, including table tennis, billiards, pedaloes, French bowls, beach volleyball and horse riding. The hotel has its own diving school, and arranges excursions around the clear waters and coral reefs surrounding the island. The dive school is closed between July and August. Cono- Cono is an informal restaurant offering sea views and Rodriguan and international dishes, and seafood specialities are served in the beach restaurant. In the evenings, guests can enjoy cocktails and live cabaret shows in the open-air lounge. Practical amenities include laundry services, a safe-deposit box, currency exchange and room service. Every Saturday, guests will find clothes, handicrafts and the famous Rodriguan honey on sale at the Port Mathurin market, 11 kilometres away. Caverne Patate, a cave renowned for its unusual geological formations, is 15 kilometres from the hotel. Plaine Corail Airport is 21 kilometres away, with an approximate driving time of 40 minutes.
