The Ten Square Hotel is the new in-place in Belfast, featuring 23 superior Pudong style guest rooms and suites. It is situated in a particularly attractive, listed Victorian building and is located just opposite of City Hall. The hotel is within walking distance of the entire city center, making it very convenient. The Pudong district is renowned in China for its luxurious five-star hotels. The rooms at the Ten Square mirror this Asian splendor to exceptionally high standards and offer a refreshingly contemporary ambiance. Each bedroom has a high window and is theatrically decorated in an uncompromisingly modern style, which is at once simple at luxurious.
Even the most dyed-in-the-wool traditionalist will be won over by the sheer style and comfort of these rooms, which have wonderful en-suite bathrooms to match. Bedrooms feature low-level beds with white duvets and dark timber headboards that sit on a cream coir carpet. The Porcelain Restaurant provides the best mix of European-Asian style dining and is the most contemporary of restaurants. The Red Bar serves beers, wines, a selection of freshly prepared snacks and freshly prepared coffees and teas. On entering Red, guests will be struck by the dark timber semi circular bard and bi-fold timber. The shutters are inset with deep red paneling which compliments the ochre limestone flooring. The hotel is the proud and worthy winner of the Newcomer of the Year Award for 2003.
