Originally built in the 1740s as the home of a wealthy merchant, Abbey Hotel is situated in the historic center of Bath, 100 meters from the Roman Baths. Guests can enjoy a continental or full English breakfast each morning at Number One North Parade; with its period service eases the stress of arrival and departure. From the hotel, the famous sights of Bath are close by, including the hotel's namesake, Bath Abbey, and the Famous Roman Baths and Pump Room. For an entertaining night out in beautiful surroundings, guests can visit the Theatre Royal, 600 meters away. Bath train station is 300 meters and a short walk, or for those traveling from further afield, Bristol airport is 13 miles (20 kilometers distance).
The 60 guestrooms have been recently refurbished and are individually decorated with patterned bedspreads and coordinating drapes and upholstery. Room amenities include Internet access, direct-dial telephones and cable television.
The hotel is undergoing from Monday 13th September for approximately 6 weeks. During this time there will be scaffolding in front and to the rear of the building however there are no internal works going on within this period and all noise will be kept to a minimum.

Driving Directions
Driving directions from Bristol airport: Enter the Hicks Gate Roundabout and leave onto A4 Bath Road for almost 6 miles, then continue straight ahead onto Old King Street. Turn right into John Street, then left into Quiet street, followed by a right into Old Bond Street. Then bear Left onto New Bond Street. Turn right onto A3039 High Street, then left onto North Parade.
