The Turunc Hotel is a modern white resort set amidst pine trees in its own private sandy cove, 800 metres from the village of Turunc, and 20 kilometres south of Marmaris. This four floor hotel features 320 air-conditioned guestrooms spread throughout four blocks. All have balconies and simple light decor with white walls, white linens and modern wooden furnishings. Amenities include satellite TV, direct-dial phones, hairdryers, refrigerators and bathrooms with showers.
After buffet breakfast in the large restaurant, guests can head down to the pool for a lazy day lounging on the sun beds and sipping drinks from the poolside bar. For those feeling more energetic there are daily activities, games and competitions around the pool area. Little ones are kept entertained by the mini club, open in the morning and afternoon, and there is also a playground, children's pool, and kids' mini-disco in the evenings. At the hotel's stretch of private beach there is a snack bar and guests can enjoy sea swimming, pedal boats, banana boats and canoeing. There are also a range of motorised water sports including jet skiing, motor boating and parasailing (surcharge). For those who prefer to stay on dry land there is beach volleyball, basketball courts and floodlit tennis courts. There is also a games room offering American billiards, table tennis and darts. The health conscious can work out in the gym, take aerobics classes, swim laps in the indoor pool and unwind in the sauna and traditional Turkish steam bath; for additional pampering guests can also indulge in massage treatments (surcharge applies). At night there are live shows daily in the amphitheatre, theme nights and weekly Turkish nights. The hotel also has a boutique selling leather goods and jewellery and a hair salon. Free parking is available on site. The hotel is situated in a rugged bay, backed by mountains with forests, waterfalls and ancient ruins nearby. The picturesque village of Turunc is 800 metres away and the city of Marmaris is 20 kilometres up the coast by road or ferry boat. Dalaman Airport is 120 kilometres away with an approximate driving time of 90 minutes.

Shuttle vans and taxis are both available from the airport. Boats ferry along the coast between Marmaris and Turunc village throughout the day. Taxi, minibus, jeep, hire car and scooter are popular ways of getting around the area. |
