Aqua Hotel is a large modern resort set in gardens leading down to a private beach at Icmeler Bay, seven kilometres from Marmaris on Turkey's southwest coast. The 240 contemporary guestrooms are decorated in caramel colours with dark-wood furniture. Rooms open out onto balconies and are equipped with air conditioning, cable television with pay movies, direct-dial phones, safes, Internet connections and minibars. Bathrooms have complimentary toiletries, bathrobes and telephones.
Guests can enjoy an open buffet of Turkish and international cuisine in the main Restaurant. Alternatively, there is a more formal a la carte restaurant with live music, three bars serving snacks and drinks, and a cocktail bar with panoramic views over Icmeler Bay. The hotel offers live music and shows every night, and a Turkish theme night on Fridays. There is a health club with a gym, sauna and steam room, where guests can also enjoy a pampering Turkish bath or massage. The hotel features three swimming pools; one indoor heated pool, and an outdoor pool with separate children's pool. Younger guests can also enjoy the kids' club which offers supervised activities and a playground. There is a floodlit tennis court in the hotel gardens, and water sports from diving and snorkelling to windsurfing and jet skiing are available at the private beach. Business facilities include conference rooms, exhibit space, banquet facilities, and high-speed Internet access. Practical amenities include 24-hour room service, babysitting, a hair salon, currency exchange and dry cleaning services. The hotel is 100 kilometres from Dalaman Airport, a 90 minute journey by car.
