The Alpina Hotel is a picturesque Swiss hotel, set between Lake Thun and Lake Brienz and seven kilometres from the pistes and ski lifts of the Habkern/Beatenberg ski area. With simple individually-styled decor and furnishings, all 36 guestrooms include satellite TV, clock radios and hair dryers. Some rooms feature balconies with mountain views.
Guests can enjoy the local Rugenbrau beer in the hotel bar or catch up on emails or surf the web via complimentary Internet access. In the traditional Swiss atmosphere of the restaurants, guests can dine on a Swiss and international menus. The hotel offers storage for ski equipment and the parking facilities are free of charge. The hotel is also set ten kilometres from the Junfrau slopes and while the nearest ski bus stop is just 200 metres away. Bern Airport is an approximate driving time of 30 minutes and a distance of 50 kilometres.

Driving Directions
A bus service between the airport and Bern railway station about once an hour. The nearest train station to the hotel is at Interlaken West, one kilometre away.
Driving directions: From the airport, take the motorway to Interlaken. Take exit 25 for Wilderswil, Grindelwald and Lauterbrunnen and then drive towards Interlaken Centre. The hotel is 800 metres further down, on the left. |
