The Hotel Terrace is an Art Nouveau-style ski hotel built in 1903, set in the centre of Engleberg and 500 metres from the slopes of Brunni ski area. With simple, modern decor and pine furnishings, all 168 guestrooms include direct-dial phones, hair dryers, Internet ports and satellite TV with premium channels.
A ski-to-door property, the hotel offers storage facilities for ski equipment and a ski shuttle bus service. The Brunni ski area which offers 82 kilometres of downhill pistes and 30 kilometres of cross-country skiing trails. After a day on the slopes, guests can savour fine cigars and whiskeys in the Porticos Bar, enjoy four course themed dinner buffets, served in stylish Art Nouveau surroundings of the restaurant or relax in the sauna and steam room. In the hotel's Nachtexpress nightclub, guests can also enjoy shows and dancing. The nearest airport to the resort is Zurich International, an approximate driving time of 90 minutes and a distance of 100 kilometres.

Driving Directions
There are connections every hour from Zurich Airport to Lucerne and trains run every hour to Engelberg from Lucerne. The nearest railway station is in Engleberg, one kilometre from the hotel.
Driving directions: From the airport, take Motorway A2 (Basel-Gotthard) and them take exit Stans-Süd. Follow the main road, which is open all year, for 20 kilometres to Engelberg. |
