The Hotel Poseidon is a modern six story hotel, 300 meters from the center of Benidorm and the Levante beach. The 242 air-conditioned guestrooms feature simple, modern décor with bright fabrics, light wood furnishings and parquet flooring. All rooms come complete with direct-dial phones, satellite television, terraces and optional in-room safes. Marble bathrooms include hair dryers and magnifying mirrors. This is a half board property; the room rate includes buffet breakfast and lunch or dinner.
Guests can cool off with a dip in the outdoor pool, which incorporates a section for children. Guests can be served drinks here, at the poolside, from the Bitacora bar- restaurant, which has an entertainment stage and also serves Mediterranean food. Salon Azul and Salon Bitacora are available for meetings, seminars or social events, and the games room offers Internet access for a fee. There is a program of activities and entertainment, including a mini- club for children in the summer. A range of water sports are available on the beach 300 meters away. Benidorm's old town is also 300 meters distant. Further afield, Terra Mitica theme park, Terra Natura - a theme park with an environmental theme - and the Aqualandia water park are all five kilometers from the hotel. For a flavor of Spanish history, Guadalest Castle is 20 kilometers away. Alicante Airport (ALC) is 60 kilometers from the hotel. Taxis are available at the airport. Scheduled buses also run every 30 minutes to/from Alicante central bus station.
