The modern K&K Hotel Elisabeta is newly opened in 2006, and situated in the city centre, 200 metres from the National Theatre and the Romanian History Museum. The 66 air-conditioned guestrooms are spread over seven floors and all have contemporary decor in a minimalist style with splashes of deep red and yellow.
