The Formosa Park Hotel is a modern resort-style property set within the Algarve's Rio Formosa Nature Reserve, 250 metres from sandy Ancao Beach. The 61 air-conditioned apartments have simple, modern decor and open onto balconies and all include kitchenettes with microwaves and refrigerators. Other amenities include cable TV, safes, tea and coffee making facilities, hair dryers, and bathrobes.
The hotel's Arcos restaurant serves international dishes and there is a bar where parents can relax while the children enjoy the play area or the outdoor swimming pool. A range of water sports including jet skiing, windsurfing, and scuba diving, are available at a discount on the hotel's private beach, where guests will also find complimentary sunshades and loungers (June to September). There is twice-weekly entertainment during high season, and multilingual staff at the 24-hour front desk can make restaurant reservations and book excursions around the Algarve area. Guests benefit from reduced rates at the Pinheiros Altos Golf Course, four kilometres away. The hotel also provides free transport to this and other nearby courses on request. A go-karting track can be found seven kilometres from the hotel. Faro International Airport is 20 kilometres away, around 20 minutes by car.

The best way to the hotel is by car; taxis are available from the airport. From the airport follow signs to Portimão. Join the N125, and after second set of traffic lights bear right for Almancil. After 4 kilometres turn right for Almancil. Turn left at traffic lights following signs to Vale do Lobo. From here, follow signs to Formosa Park. |
