Situated in the center of Ålesund on a quiet street in the main pedestrian shopping area, the pink- painted Thon Hotel Alesund provides accommodation 100 meters from the canal. The 101 guestrooms are simply furnished with pared down Nordic décor and have light or dark wood furniture. All feature minibars, bathrobes, cable television and hair dryers.

An airport shuttle (Flybus) bus stops outside the hotel and ferries visitors to and from the airport. Guests are best advised to explore this small city by foot. Buses are the only form of public transport. |
