Boasting stunning views over the sparkling, azure Mediterranean Sea and featuring a sun-soaked private beach, Le Meridien Beach Plaza provides elegant accommodations in Monte Carlo, the famed French Riviera town in Monaco. Located on the Mediterrenean Sea, Monte Carlo is well-known destination, famous for its casino, fine villas and luxurious hotels. The Monte-Carlo Casino, built in 1878 by Charles Garnier, is a 10 minute walk from Le Meridien Beach Plaza. The hotel also is within walking distance of the Monte Carlo Tennis Club. The Monte Carlo Golf Club is 10 minutes by car, and the snow skiing in the Alps is an hour's drive away.
Providing 338 guestrooms, Le Meridien Beach Plaza completely renovated and reopened a new lobby and Cristal bedrooms in January 2005. Two magnificent glass columns have been erected on the existing facade of the hotel facing the sea. These columns contain 66 rooms and two penthouse suites that offer amazing panoramic sea views along with amenities such as a flat-screen TV, designer furniture and high-tech bathroom with power shower or bath.
L'intempo is a new restaurant at Le Meridien Beach Plaza and is the only restaurant in Monte Carlo that is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. With spacious sea views and featuring a central open kitchen, L'intempo provides Mediterranean cuisine under the direction of chef Emmanuel Lehrer, formerly of Orenoc. L'intempo Bar with a striking long bar in steel and glass, serves a wide selection of champagnes and cigars. Le Bar&Lunch, open from May to October, offers a large summer buffet featuring grilled fish and meat.
The hotel also features a freshwater indoor pool, two seawater outdoor pools and a fitness center. The hotel's Sea Club, a 3000 square-meter conference center overlooking the sea, can host events of up to 2000 people.
