The Hotel Juliani is a stylish boutique-style hotel set in a converted seafront town house overlooking St Julian's Bay and next to the entertainment zone. The 44 guestrooms have a contemporary decor in cool greys and aquamarine with light wood furniture, stainless steel and glass finishes; terraces overlook the Mediterranean Sea. They are all equipped with air conditioning, direct-dial phones, satellite televisions, high-speed Internet, safes, hair dryers, designer toiletries, bathrobes, slippers, minibars and sewing kits.
Café Juliani serves a wide selection of light meals including pastas, salads, hot tarts and sandwiches. Set in a modern contemporary space with impressive views of Spinola Bay through its glass walls, it is open throughout the day. Meze serves Mediterranean food and specialises in Middle Eastern meze. Zest serves a fusion of Eastern and Western cuisine, including Thai curries, Indonesian noodles, Singapore seafood laksas. The modern 'East meets West' decor has ebony wood furniture and cream upholstery and features a sushi bar where guests can view the chef preparing the dishes. When weather permits, guests have use of the rooftop terrace and swimming pool with its impressive views of St Julian's Bay. Executive travellers are well catered for with business services, conference rooms, audio-visual equipment and exhibit space at their disposal. An indoor car park is available for guests. Malta International Airport is 10 kilometres away with an approximate driving time of 15 minutes.

There is a full fixed fare taxi service to all areas of Malta. A taxi booth is located in the Welcomers' Hall where pre-paid tickets may be purchased. Malta is well served by a bus network to get to most parts of the island and taxis are relatively cheap. |
