Set in a quiet street in the centre of the lively Maltese resort town of St Julian's, the Alexandra Palace Hotel is a modern style building located 500 metres from St Georges' beach. The 145 air-conditioned guestrooms are spread over seven floors and have warm decor with patterned fabrics. Sliding glass doors lead to balconies and all are equipped with satellite television, direct- dial phones, minibars and complimentary bottled water. The hotel features two outdoor pools, one at ground level and one on the roof with a sun terrace. From November to May the roof is covered with a glass enclosure, so that the pool can still be enjoyed during the winter months.
