Part of a modern shopping and dining complex built in 2000, the Baystreet Hotel is located by St Georges Bay overlooking the sandy beach, in Malta's main nightlife area. The seven floor hotel features 101 air-conditioned guestrooms, all of which have warm, modern decor with contemporary beech wood furnishings and bright fabrics, and include air conditioning, cable television, direct-dial phones, hair dryers, safes and complimentary bottled water.
A buffet breakfast is offered each morning and the hotel's All Seasons Restaurant, serves Mediterranean and French cuisine from a buffet and a la carte menu. There is also a terrace for al fresco dining. Guests can relax on the sundeck beside the hotel's rooftop swimming pool, located on the seventh floor with panoramic bay views; there is also a snack bar, a paddling pool for children, and changing rooms and showers. The hotel offers a wide range of health and beauty services, including a sauna, and therapies such as Dead Sea black mud treatments. The conference rooms can accommodate up to 100 delegates and a range of audio-visual equipment and business services are offered. The hotel is part of the Bay Street complex, which offers many shops, restaurants, bars and leisure attractions including a multi-screen cinema, IMAX theatre, bowling alley and a casino. There is also a sandy beach 100 metres away. Malta International Airport is an approximate driving time of 25 minutes and a distance of 12 kilometres.

There is a full fixed fare taxi service to all areas of Malta. A taxi booth is located in the Welcomers' Hall where pre-paid tickets may be purchased. Alternatively, bus no. 8 departs regularly to/from Valletta and leaves from a bus stop outside the check-in hall. |
