The Westin Dragonara is an upscale, resort hotel situated on its own private peninsular, with stunning panoramic views of the sea, just four kilometres from the capital of Valetta. The 341 air-conditioned guestrooms have modern decor, with colour coordinated soft furnishings and light wood furniture. All of the rooms and suites open up onto balconies or terraces with views over the sea. Amenities include satellite TV, direct dial phones and high speed Internet access. Suites have separate living area and ensuite bathrooms with jetted tubs.
The hotel has three pools, including a children's pool. After a lazy day spent on the private beach guests can unwind in the sauna and hot tub, work up a sweat in the fitness centre or tennis courts, or relax with a drink in the poolside bar. There is a kids club for the little ones and snacks can be ordered from the 24-hour room service. The hotel offers many fine dining options the Terrace Restaurant serves an extensive buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner, with weekly themed buffets in an al fresco, relaxed and informal setting. The Quadro Restaurant offers fresh fish and seafood served for dinner in an open air, romantic setting, with views over the sea. Palio's Restaurant serves Italian style cuisine is for lunch and dinner in a relaxed setting with stunning sea views. Multilingual staff on the 24-hour front desk are available with help and advice on the hotel and surrounding area. Visitors are well placed to explore the many places of interest. The lively nightlife area of Paceville is just 100 metres; the town of Silema offers a chance of some retail therapy with its many shops, two kilometres. Valletta, the capital city and world heritage site, is three kilometres and the old capital city of Medina is seven kilometres. Malta International Airport is 12 kilometres approximately 15 minutes by car.

Driving Directions
There is a full fixed fare taxi service to all areas of Malta. A taxi booth is located in the Welcomers' Hall where pre-paid tickets may be purchased a typical fare will cost 20 EUR. Alternatively, bus no. 8 departs regularly to/from Valletta and leaves from a bus stop outside the check-in hall.
