The Victoria Hotel is a boutique hotel with Victorian-style interiors, located six kilometres from the capital city, Valetta, and ten kilometres from the old city of Rabat. The 120 guestrooms have Mediterranean blue or Victorian-style mahogany decor with cream coloured bed fabrics and matching curtains, and wood furnishings including coffee tables and dressing tables. All rooms open onto balconies and are equipped with satellite television, wireless Internet connections and safes.
Diners can sample Mediterranean and international dishes in the Copperfield's restaurant, which features classical decor with gilded mirrors and antique paintings. The al fresco rooftop restaurant is open on Saturdays, serving fresh fish and meat cuts accompanied by live music. The hotel's outdoor pool terrace is equipped with sun loungers and umbrellas, and features a jetted tub and a poolside snack bar. The Penny Black Bar serves wine and cocktails alongside light snacks, and features warm- coloured decor with low-level lighting. Guests arriving by car will find complimentary parking facilities on site. Nearby attractions include the restaurants and discos in St Julians, four kilometres from the hotel. The Sliema ferry, conveying passengers to Valletta, is three kilometres from the hotel. Valetta itself is six kilometres away. The old capital of the island, Rabat, is ten kilometres from the hotel. Malta International Airport is eight kilometres from the hotel, with an approximate driving time of 20 minutes.

Driving Directions
Buses can be taken from the airport, through Valetta and onto Sliema. Taxi is the recommended means of getting to the hotel, at a cost of approximately 9 MTL.
Driving directions: From the airport, drive to Marsa and follow signs to Valletta. When in Marsa, follow signs to Msida/Sliema. Once in Sliema, drive along the promenade until the Tower Palace Hotel. The Victoria is approximately 500 metres uphill on the left-hand side. |
