The Hotel Empire is housed in a curved corner building located just 100 metres from the train station, one kilometre from the historic centre. The 35 guestrooms have a simple, cheery décor with cream walls, crimson fabrics and wooden furnishings. All have private bathrooms and include cable TV, direct-dial phones and hairdryers.
Guests can start the day with buffet breakfast, seek assistance and tour advice from the 24-hour front desk and relax with a drink in the bar and lounge area. Travellers may wish to explore the city by bicycle and rentals are available from the hotel. Guests can surf the web with high-speed Internet access. The nearby parking is a bonus for drivers. The hotel is within one kilometre of the attractions of the old town centre, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and the Palais Grand Ducal, official residence of the Grand Duke. The Financial district is 1.5 kilometres and the European Commission is three kilometres away. Luxembourg International Airport (LUX) is approximately 15 minutes drive away at a distance of five kilometres. The City Bus No. 9 leaves every 15-20 minutes throughout the day for the City Centre and Railway station from the stop just outside the airport building (journey 25 mins). Luxair Airport Bus stops outside the airport terminal, meeting most incoming flights and runs to the railway station in the city (journey 15 mins). Taxis are available just outside the airport building and cost around €20-25. The train station is 100 metres from the hotel.

| Driving Directions
By car from the airport take the N1 (Route de Treves) keep straight onto N1A.The road name changes to N2A. At roundabout take the second exit onto N1B (Val de Hamm. Keep straight onto N1B (road name changes to Boulevard de la Petrusse). Bear left onto Rue Dicks then immediately left onto N3. |
