The Hotel Nobilis is a modern located just 200 metres from the train station, within one kilometre of the attractions of the historic centre, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The 46 guestrooms set over seven floors have simple décor with warm floral fabrics and wood furniture. All are air-conditioned and include cable TV, direct-dial phones and bathrooms.
The hotel offers two restaurants: Le Calao has dark wood panelled ceilings, chandeliers and crisp table linen and serves classic French cuisine, while La Taverne is more informal and offers Luxembourgian and French specialities. Guests can unwind in the bar and lounge area and during winter months enjoy a warming drink by the glowing lobby fireplace. Business guests can make use of the conference room, with capacity for up to 50 persons, and there is a fitness centre nearby for the health-conscious. Parking is available nearby. Visitors are a short walk from the sights of the city including the lively Grund district, Place Clairefontaine, the Grand Duke's Palace and Notre-Dame Cathedral all within approximately one kilometre. The train station is 200 metres from the hotel and Luxembourg International Airport (LUX) is around a 10 minutes drive at 10 kilometres in distance. The City Bus No. 9 leaves every 15-20 minutes throughout the day for the City Centre and Railway station from a stop just outside the airport building (journey 25 mins). Luxair Airport Bus stops outside the airport terminal, meeting most incoming flights and runs to the railway station in the city (journey 15 mins). Taxis are available just outside the airport building and cost around €20-25. The train station is 200 metres from the hotel.

By car from the airport take the N1 (Route de Treves) keep straight onto N1A.The road name changes to N2A. At roundabout take the second exit onto N1B (Val de Hamm. Turn left onto Rue de Pulvermuhl. Turn right onto CR225, road name changes to Boulevard de la Petrusse). Turn right onto Rue Pierre Blanc, then immediately right. |
