Built in the late 1960s, the eight floor Hotel Minerva is located one kilometre from the train station in the centre of the Renaissance city of Arezzo. The hotel has 127 air-conditioned guestrooms, featuring simple, modern decor in light colours. All are soundproofed and have satellite television, direct-dial telephones, minibars, safes, and bathrooms with designer toiletries and hair dryers.
Guests need not miss out on their daily workout during their stay at the Minerva thanks to the fitness centre, which includes a relaxing Turkish bath and invigorating Scottish shower as well as a fully equipped gym. Located on the first floor near the lobby, the Ristorante Minerva has polished floors, wooden pillars and crisp white linen tablecloths. | Driving Directions
The airport is a short taxi ride from central Florence (costing 13-16 EUR) although it is also possible to take the half-hourly bus, which transports passengers to Santa Maria Novella Station, in the city centre. Trains run between Florence and Arezzo station, one kilometre from the hotel. |
