The Relais Monteturri is a split level property set on a cliff top, reminiscent of an ancient castle with Sardinian touches, one kilometre from Arbatax. The 42 Rustic style guestrooms feature soft pastel-toned paintwork and terracotta floors. Amenities include air conditioning, satellite television, direct-dial phones, Internet connections, safes, minibars, and bathrooms with showers and hairdryers. A half board option which includes breakfast and dinner, is available in some rooms.
Guests can bask in the sun on the protected poolside terrace, which is equipped with umbrellas, sun loungers and a sauna for cooler days and offers views of surrounding greenery and the ocean. Guests can also take the hotel's custom-built panoramic lift down to the hotel's private beach cove, where umbrellas, sun loungers and beach towels are available free of charge; a complimentary shuttle bus runs each afternoon, to nearby swimming beaches. Multilingual staff at the concierge desk can assist with questions and arrange excursions and boat hire for guests. Gennargentu National Park is situated 45 kilometres from the hotel, and Cala Gonone, a local seaside resort, is 70 kilometres away. Tortoli Airport is four kilometres and a 10-minute drive away.

Driving Directions
Taxis are available from outside all airports. Travel around the local area is possible on foot or by bicycle, but hiring a car or travelling by train is best for exploring the greater island.
From Olbia Airport drive to San Teodoro, then take the SS 131 to Nuoro. Exit Nuoro Hospital and follow the ring road in order to take the SS 389 direction Mamoiada, Lanusei and Arbatax. Contiue until the fork of Villanova Strisaili, then turn left for Villagrande, direction Tortolì, Arbatax. Cross the resort of Arbatax and 100 metres before the lighthouse follow the directions to the Hotel Relais Monteturri. |
