Four-storey, renovated 1950s cliff-top hotel overlooking the sea by Amalfi, located 800 metres from the town centre. The Miramalfi features 49 air-conditioned guestrooms with subtle, light-coloured decor, Vietri or Amalfi tiles and cane furniture. All include terraces with sea views, satellite television, direct-dial telephones, minibars, and bathrooms with tubs and handheld showers, bidets, hair dryers, bathrobes and designer toiletries.
Built into the cliff-face and accessible by lift, the Miramalfi's rocky bathing allows guests to bask in the Mediterranean sun or take a dip in the seawater swimming pool. A casual, open-air restaurant located by the pool is open for lunch, and offers a selection of grilled fish and meats, sandwiches, seafood and pizzas. With a terrace and windows on all sides, the hotel's main restaurant offers informal dining combined with cliff-top views. The menu comprises a wide range of international dishes and Mediterranean specialities, desserts and appetisers. By night, guests can choose from a selection of beers, wines, cocktails and non-alcoholic beverages from the bar and enjoy panoramic views of the sea and Amalfi from the terrace. The concierge and front-desk staff are on hand to provide assistance, exchange currency and arrange dry- cleaning services. Guests arriving by car can make us of the hotel's private, secure parking facilities. The hotel is located 800 metres from St Andrew's Cathedral and the narrow streets, arched passageways and fountains of the historic centre of Amalfi. Those interested in archaeology can arrange an excursion to the buried city of Pompeii or the ancient Doric monuments of Paestum, both of which are located within 50 kilometres of the hotel. Naples Airport is 70 kilometres away and can be reached by car in approximately 90 minutes.

Driving Directions
Buses run from the airport to Naples train station and the port (Piazza Municipio) and also to Sorrento. Taxis are also available from the airport. From the port, hydrofoils and ferries connect to the island of Capri. Naples has an integrated bus, subway and tram system. Traffic is chaotic and driving is best avoided. Naples is a large city and although the simplest way to see it is on foot, public transport is recommended for visiting some areas.
Driving directions: From Naples airport take Freeway A3 (Napoli-Salerno). After approx. 50 Km. take the "Vietri sul mare" exit. At the first intersection follow the sign "Amalfi" and continue along the windy coastal road for 20 km. |
