The Hotel dei Pini is a modern Sardinian resort overlooking a white sand beach seven kilometres from Alghero beside the Porto Conte Natural Park. This four storey hotel features 100 guestrooms, all of which include a simple white and blue decor, cherry wood furnishings and cool tiled floors. All rooms have air conditioning, cable television, direct-dial phones and Internet access.
Looking out over the bay the Main Bar and Restaurant features Italian and Mediterranean cuisine including specialities such as spaghetti alle vongole and an extensive wine list served in a modern ambience decorated in warm colours. The Beach Bar and Restaurant serves Mediterranean dishes and snacks alfresco. The hotel is located directly on the beach at the edge of a 30, 000 square metre pine forest. A tennis court and fitness centre are located in the pine wood. Scuba diving into the reef beside the hotel can be arranged. Guests can also pay 70 EUR for an activity card which includes limited hours bike, canoe, tennis court and pedal boat rental, one hour of Internet and a windsurfing lesson. Parking is complimentary. A shuttle bus serves Alghero twice a day between June and September. Also nearby is the Arca di Noe Natural Park (12 kilometres away) with its Caves of Neptune. Alghero Airport (AHO) is 10 minutes by car, six kilometres from the hotel.
