Property Info
The Molino ai Mori is a traditional property situated in centre of Acquaviva, set amongst vineyards, five kilometres from the medieval town of Montepulciano. This one-storey hotel features six guestrooms, all of which include pale-coloured decor, antique furnishings and tiled floors. All offer cable television, telephones and hair dryers. Bathrooms have bidets.
Guests can start the day in the breakfast room, which has a traditional-style decor with antique dark wood furnishings. There is an outdoor pool, and staff can hire out bicycles, and book excursions and days out at a nearby golf club. Cars can be parked in the garage for a surcharge of €7 per day. The hotel is well placed for exploring the surrounding region; for one-day excursions the Etruscan town of Chiusi and Trasimeno Lake are both 18 kilometres away, while it is 40 kilometres to Perugia. Florence Vespucci Airport is 75 minutes by car, 120 kilometres (76 miles) from the hotel.

Driving Directions
From the airport one can get connecting trains to Montepulciano Station, three kilometres from the hotel. The best way to get around is by rail.
Driving directions: From the north, take the A1 (Florence to Rome) and exit at Valdichiana. At the toll turn left for Torrita di Siena. After Torrita di Siena, follow the signs for Chiusi. At the intersection, Bivio di Nottola, turn left in the direction of Acquaviva di Montepulciano. On arrival in the town, turn left onto Via dei Mori.
From the south, take the A1 (Rome to Florence) and exit at Chiusi/Chianciano Terme, and take the toll take road in the direction of Chiusi. Before arriving in town, turn left towards Acquaviva. On arrival in the town, take the first road on the right after the church ontoVia dei Mori. |
