The Hotel Residence Boscolungo is a modern alpine-style complex set in pine forest in the popular Abetone skiing resort, seven kilometres from the medieval town of Fiumalbo. The hotel has 52 guestrooms and all have simple modern decor in white, with fabrics in royal blue and carpeted floors. All guestrooms include work desks with Internet connections, cable television, direct-dial phones, minibars, and bathrooms with hair dryers.
Guests can relax with a drink in the American Bar, which is decorated in dark wood and has contemporary white sofas and armchairs. Live piano entertainment and snacks and refreshments can be enjoyed in the Piano Bar and there is a billiard room, TV room and children's playroom. Florence Vespucci Airport is 100 kilometres from the hotel, with an approximate driving time of 120 minutes.

Driving Directions
The airport is a short taxi ride from town, although it is also possible to take the half-hourly bus, which transports passengers to Santa Maria Novella Station, in the centre of Florence. From there one can get connecting buses to Abetone.
Driving directions: From the airport head follow signs for Firenze, then Pistoia, then Abetone. |
