The modern BB44 Guesthouse is set in a residential area 500 metres from the concert hall, seven kilometres from central Reykjavik. The 25 guestrooms have simple, bright decor with colourful fabrics and functional furnishings. All include cable television, Internet connections, bathrobes, and tea and coffee making facilities. Some are en-suite and some have shared bathrooms.
After a day's sightseeing guests can relax in the outdoor hot tub or enjoy a barbecue on the patio (seasonal). Staff can assist with planning and booking excursions and there are Internet connections for those who wish to plan their own itineraries. Guests can explore Reykjavik centre with its many museums and geothermal springs, seven kilometres away. Getting around Reykjavik is easiest on the SVR bus system, which runs from 7 AM to midnight daily. Bicycles can be used to negotiate the city's extensive network of cycle paths, and are available to rent from the hotel. The hotel is 50 kilometres from Reykjavik Keflavik Airport, around 45 minutes by car.

Bus services run to and from the airport in connection with arriving and departing flights. Taxis are available but they are expensive. The hotel operates a transfer to/from the airport for a fee, or free from the Flybus station in Reykjavik. |
