Built in 1989 in a modern Baroque style, the Avantgarde Hotel is located on the Kurfurstendamm, the city's main thoroughfare. The 27 guestrooms are decorated in cool, neutral tones with modern furnishings. All are equipped with cable television, wireless Internet connections, direct-dial phones, minibars and complimentary newspapers.
Guests can start the day with a complimentary newspaper and a buffet breakfast (surcharge), and in the evening unwind with drinks in the bar. Those visiting on business can make use of the hotel's conference room, which can accommodate up to 20 people. | Driving Directions
Taxis are readily available outside the terminal. An airport bus is available that connects to the underground system. There is also a jet express airport shuttle serving central Berlin. Bus number 100 runs close to the hotel. Berlin's integrated public transport system (the BVG) is the best way to get about. One ticket allows travel on all trains, trams, buses and ferries. Bus numbers 149, 100 (airport bus) and 109 run close to the hotel. |
