Surrounded by green meadows and forests, the Steigenberger Hotel Bad Orb is a modern health resort with onsite thermal baths, situated 500 metres from the town centre and 60 kilometres from Frankfurt. The 103 guestrooms are decorated in warm, neutral tones of cream, brown and grey, with modern chocolate-brown furnishings, orange fabrics and large windows leading to balconies. Driving Directions
Take a train from the airport from Frankfurt Airport on the main route to Bebra Wächtersbach Station and from there take a bus or a taxi to the hotel. The station is seven kilometres away and a taxi booked in advance to the hotel costs 14 EUR. A taxi from the airport can be booked in advance by the hotel at the special rate of 145 EUR. The hotel is located 500 metres from the town centre and therefore the local area is best explored on foot. A hire car is recommended for trips further afield.
Driving directions: From Hamburg, take the A7 towards Würzburg, take exit Fulda-Süd following signs for Frankfurt, then follow the B40 to Schlüchtern Nord, and the A66 towards Hanau/Frankfurt. Exit at Wächtersbach/Bad Orb, and drive towards Bad Orb. After the Aral petrol station take the first street on the right and then follow the signs to the hotel. |
