The Steigenberger Hotel Drei Mohren Augsburg is a grandiose townhouse built in 1724 by renowned architect Gunetzrhaner, located on Maximilianstrasse, famous for its Renaissance splendour, in the centre of historic Augsburg. This five-floor hotel features 99 guestrooms, all of which include warm dusk tones, modern furnishings and views over Maximilianstrasse or the glass roof of the tea salon. All rooms have cable television with pay movies, direct-dial phones, desks with wireless Internet access, minibars and hair dryers.
The hotel's Bistro 3M offers French cuisine and fine wines served in a Parisian café-style ambience, with leather-upholstered furnishings and black-and-white tiled floor. Maximilian's Restaurant and Garden, furnished with light wood, exotic plants, bay windows and original paintings, features regional dishes, Mediterranean specialities and seafood, and has a garden terrace for outdoor dining. Driving Directions
Commuter trains and buses connect the airport with Augsburg Rail Station, 900 metres from the hotel. Taxis are readily available outside the terminal. The best way to explore Augsburg is on foot.
Driving directions: From the airport take the A8, exit Augsburg-Ost, turn left at first traffic lights, then head for Lechhausen, follow signs for Stadion/Kongresshalle/Landsberg, turn left at Cinemaxx, turn right at Am Schwall, continue until Heilig-Grab- Grasse, turn left and then right onto Maximilianstrasse. |
