Opened in 2005, the Cumulus Salo is a glass-fronted hotel set on the riverbank in Salo town centre, 500 metres from the train station, and one kilometre from the Art Museum. This four-floor hotel features 53 air-conditioned guestrooms, all of which are decorated in modern tones of blue, red and white, and include flat-screen TVs with satellite channels, wireless Internet, safes, and minibars.
A Scandinavian buffet breakfast is served each morning and for relaxation, guests can unwind in the sauna or work out in the gym, which is located in the same building complex and is payable at reception. Bus no.1 runs to Turku city centre. Guests should change at Kauppatori for the railway station, where onward services to Salo are available. Alternatively, taxis can be found outside the airport terminal. Salo bus and train stations are within 500 metres of the hotel. |
