The Radisson SAS Tallinn is housed in a modern 25-storey building in the downtown business district, within a kilometre of Toompea Castle, the Parliament Building and the Old Town. The 280 guestrooms are decorated in one of four styles: Italian, Scandinavian, Asian or Maritime. All are equipped with satellite TV, Internet connections, coffee and tea making facilities, minibars, and safes. Bathrooms include TV speakers, hair dryers and toiletries.
Built in 2001, the Radisson SAS is Tallinn's tallest hotel. The high-ceilinged lobby has a gift shop on one side and a cigar shop on the other. Guests can start their day with a workout in the gym or a complimentary sauna, followed by a breakfast buffet with a choice of 100 items. The Seasons restaurant offers a selection of international dishes and local specialities for lunch and dinner, served in an ocean-blue dining room. A split- level room with two bars and a connecting spiral staircase, Madissoni Leib & Lust offers grilled fare prepared in an exhibition kitchen. The Lobby Bar is housed in an oval lounge with views of the street, serving cocktails and food from the 24-hour room-service menu. The hotel includes 17 meeting rooms, the largest of which can accommodate up to 350 attendees, a 24-hour business centre and complimentary wireless Internet access in the meeting rooms and public areas. Multilingual staff at the 24-hour front desk can advise on local sightseeing opportunities. The hotel is located downtown, one kilometre from the Old Town, which is characterised by winding cobbled streets and preserved buildings dating from the 11th to 15th centuries. A medieval structure with a 20th century Art Nouveau façade, Toompea Castle is now home to the Estonian Parliament and can be found one kilometre from the hotel. Tallinn Airport is three kilometres away, with an approximate driving time of 15 minutes.

Taxis travel the short distance from the airport to the hotel. The public transport system consists of buses and trams. Because the city is fairly compact, visitors will probably find it easiest to walk or use taxis. |
