A modern hotel with large windows spanning its exterior, the Hotel Bel Air is situated on the Amager Peninsula, seven kilometres from central Copenhagen. The 92 guestrooms are decorated in neutral tones with light wood furnishings and feature large windows making the rooms light and airy. All the rooms come equipped with cable television, telephones and blackout drapes to help ensure a sound night's sleep.
Guests of the hotel can relax in the hotel lobby where complimentary newspapers are provided, and enjoy self- service tea, coffee, wine and beer in the television lounge. There is a hot tub to relax in after a busy day and for business travellers there are conference and meeting rooms. The hotel offers free parking to guests with their own vehicles, while pedestrians will find there are umbrellas for rainy days. The shopper's paradise that is Fields - Scandinavia's largest shopping centre - is 3.5 kilometres from the hotel, as are the Amager Beach Park and Harbour. The city of Dragoer with its picturesque harbour and fishermen's houses is four kilometres away and the numerous attractions of Copenhagen's city centre, seven kilometres away. Guests will need their passports to cross the Oresund Bridge into Sweden, a half hour journey by car or train from the hotel. Copenhagen Airport is two miles from the hotel. Taxis are readily available from ranks at Terminal 3 East and Terminal 1, Halls 3 and 6 and should cost around 100 DKK. Additionally, there are direct trains to Copenhagen Central Station every ten minutes and buses 9, 250S and 500S run from the airport to the city centre and beyond until midnight daily.
