The Falkensteiner Hotel Palace is a marble-fronted hotel rebuilt in 2005, situated in central Vienna, 1.5 kilometres from the famous Ringstrasse and Opera House. This six-floor hotel features 117 air-conditioned guestrooms, decorated in either 'Biedermeier' period style or 'Timeless Nobility' with contemporary light wood and soft colours, and a bathroom with under-floor heating separated from the bedroom by a frosted glass wall. All rooms include cable TV, direct-dial phones, minibars, and Internet connections.
After a buffet breakfast guests can relax in the hotel sauna or enjoy a relaxing drink in the spacious and light lounge bar, with its unusual low-level bar and small book library with couches and leather armchairs. Complimentary newspapers are available and guests can work in peace using the wireless Internet access. Business guests can access two conference rooms, accommodating up to 60 people, which are connected by a flexible separating wall. The air-conditioned seminar rooms have natural daylight and modern audio-visual equipment. Practical amenities include private underground car parking (at a cost of 13 EUR a day), currency exchange, and laundry services. The hotel is within walking distance of many of Vienna's top attractions including the Theatre an der Wien and Naschmarkt, both within 100 metres and the State Opera, Ringstrasse and Museum of the Arts, all within two kilometres. Vienna International Airport is 20 kilometres away with an approximate driving time of 30 minutes.

| Driving Directions
Take the city airport train to Wien Mitte and then the U4 train from Hutteldorf until Pilgramgasse and the hotel is 200 metres away. Taxi reservations can be made from the hotel (surcharge). Taxis are readily available outside the arrivals hall and cost approximately 35 EUR to the hotel. Much of the centre of Vienna can be easily seen on foot. Vienna's integrated U-bahn, S-bahn, bus and tram system is very efficient and reliable. Taxis are expensive and can be hailed in the street. |
