Driving Directions
From Taupo Airport:
Approximate driving time is 5 minutes and distance is 2 miles / 3 kilometers.
From the Airport driveway, turn right onto the State Highway 1 in the direction of Taupo. Shortly afterwards there is a speed limit sign, then the road goes downhill. On the left is the boat ramp and car park, and on the right the "Anchorage" motel and you should see the white signboard. Turn second right into Matuku Street then immediately (15 meters) right into a slip road that leads along the front of the "Anchorage" - drive past its front door until you reach the Lodge's driveway - it has cream gateposts with an Albion Lodge sign on. Carry straight to the top of the drive, following the silver lights. |
