The Amari Orchid Resort, situated in 10 acres of tropical garden, offers superb accommodation and facilities. There is no end to entertaining and relaxing recreational options in the Amari Orchid Resort. Relax by the beautiful free-form pool with its whirlpool and swim-up bar, enjoy a game of table tennis, shuffle board or mini-golf or practice your backhand on the professional, Swiss-flex tennis court. A stroll through the tropical garden is a delightful way to pass the morning. The Amari Orchid Resort offers 24-hour reception, porter and concierge services. The Business service includes secretarial services, email and Internet access. A Videoconferencing service is also available in the business center and meeting rooms to impress the business traveler. No pets are allowed at the Amari Orchid Resort. The hotel offers room service, turn-down service, wake-up service and complimentary parking.
The 236 rooms are spacious and comfortable and have tastefully furnished interiors that are decorated with bright local fabrics. The guest rooms boast colorful views of either the blue waters of Pattaya Bay or the vivid colors of the exotic landscaped gardens. Each of the rooms features air conditioning, direct dial telephone, hair dryer, in-room safe, mini bar, remote control cable TV, refrigerator and electronic room keys. For added comfort and security smoke detectors, alarms and 24-hour security are also provided.
NEW CONSTRUCTION DETAILS
Beginning 5/01/05-12/31/06 the hotel will begin the construc- tion of the new tower and conference center.
Heavy machinery will be used in the initial phase of this project.
Work will proceed in the lower gardens of the existing property.
Daily work hours are from 8am-9pm.
La Gritta Italian Restaurant and the tennis courts will permanently close.
A new restaurant called Mantra will open by the end of the year.
Mini golf will no longer be available as of May 2005.
