Location. Towering 22 stories over Raidamri Road in central Bangkok, Thailand, the Grand Hyatt Erawan Bangkok is within walking distance of Erawan Shrine, a Hindu shrine that contains the image of Brahma. Located in the city's business and commercial district, the hotel is a short walk from Lumpini Park and superb shopping centers.
Guests are within seven kilometers of the Chatuchak weekend market, known as the largest market in Thailand and perhaps the world. The Grand Palace, an array of buildings used as the official residence of the King of Thailand from the 18th to 20th centuries, lies 10 kilometers away, along with the National Museum. Bangkok International Airport sits 25 kilometers from the hotel.
Hotel Features. The Erawan Shopping Arcade is located in the lower lobby of the Grand Hyatt Erawan Bangkok, and the hotel also offers a rooftop heliport for guests traveling in style. Home to an array of conference facilities, the hotel can accommodate up to 1,200 guests.
The Grand Hyatt Erawan Bangkok contains nine restaurants, including The Dining Room, which features a renowned buffet, and Spasso, which offers Italian cuisine and nightly live music. Guests can also dine on Cantonese cuisine at The Chinese Restaurant or lounge in the semi-casual Erawan Tea Room.

Expert Tip. Situated 10 kilometers from the hotel, the Grand Palace contains the beautiful Emerald Buddha, a statue of the sitting Buddha that is clothed in gold and comprised of green jade. Legends surround the formation of the magnificent figurine, yet it is believed it was carved no sooner than the 15th century.
