Location. Mention Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and it is hard not to think of the Petronas KLCC Twin Towers. The 452 meter high towers, with a design based on geometric patterns of classical Islam, rise 0.5 kilometers from the Micasa All Suites Hotel Kuala Lumpur. The hotel has a scheduled shuttle bus service or is an easy walk to the towers, which house Suria KLCC shopping mall at their base, which is one of Malaysia's busiest. The hotel is also in the Jalan U-Thant Area, in the Malaysia Multimedia Supercorridor, a high-tech business zone designed to stretch from the Petronas KLCC Towers to the international airport.
Hotel Features. Built 1988 and renovated in 2003, the six-floor Micasa All Suites Hotel Kuala Lumpur is indeed a full-service hotel. For dining, the Cilantro Restaurant and Wine Bar, with Chief Chef Kimura at its helm, features contemporary French cuisine informed by the cooking of his native Japan. The Oyster Bar offers tapas and local favorites such as Char Koay Teow Cantonese Fried Noodle and Oxtail Stew. The hotel is equipped with high-speed Internet access, 24-hour security, fully equipped fitness center and a complimentary shuttle service to the city center. For more practical concerns, the hotel offers baby sitting services and an on-site doctor and dentist.
Guestrooms. The Micasa All Suites' 242 suites have dual telephone lines with voicemail, satellite television, mini fridges and bath/shower combinations with Kimono bathrobes. Smoking and non-smoking rooms are available.

Driving Directions
From Kuala Lumpur International Airport:
Take the Seremban/KL Highway. Approach Jalan Sungai Besi
and following the Jalan Tun Razak Sign.
Enter Tunnel 1 on the right after the overhead bridge. Exit
and keep to the left. Drive past the Singapore High
Commission, Menara Tan & Tan, and then keep left.
Shortly after passing Esso, Caltex,
and Menara PNB, keep right and make a U-Turn (Avoid Tunnel 2). Stay in the left lane. After passing the
overhead bridge, turn left. The hotel is ahead. |
