Location. The Fragrant Hills Golden Resources Commerce Hotel is located beside Fragrant Hills Park and the Beijing Botanical Garden and is 28 kilometers from Taianmen Square and central Beijing, China.
Hotel Features. The hotel is organized in one main building and then nine independent villas. The large campus that contains these buildings is 30,000 square meters. A golden elephant fountain is situated in the center of the hotel's main garden. The Fragrant Hills Golden Resources Commerce Hotel's lobby is 1,000 square meters and contains transparent glass inlays. For dining, the hotel features Chinese, Japanese and American cuisine. There are also various sized conference rooms that include audiovisual equipment and simultaneous translation equipment. These include a 500-square meter main banqueting hall. For recreation, the hotel offers a gymnasium, sauna and tennis courts.
Guestrooms. The Fragrant Hills Golden Resources Commerce Hotel features 278 guestrooms. All guestrooms are equipped with satellite television and international-direct-dialing telephones.
Expert Tip. The hotel's greatest asset is its location beside one of Mainland China's finest green spaces. The 395-acre Fragrant Hills Park was built in 1186 during the Jin Dynasty. In 1745, Emperor Qianlong (the last of the dynastic emperors and a ruler noted for his keen humanistic interests) further developed the park by building new halls, pavilions and gardens.
