Hotel Samara is a modern, white-fronted resort set 100 metres from the private beach and only a kilometre from Sousse city centre. The hotel's 327 guestrooms are decorated in light colours with bold fabrics. All rooms extend to balconies and offer air conditioning, dial-up Internet, satellite TV, direct-dial phones and minibars.
Guests can cool off in the outdoor pool, or take a stroll on the private beach while children can splash safely in their own pool or join the kid's club for activities to keep them amused. There is a fitness room and indoor heated pool for active guests, as well as a massage treatment room and hot tub for relaxing tired muscles. In the evening guests can watch live entertainment or party in the Samara King nightclub, reputedly Tunisia's largest nightspot. Tennis and mini golf can be played onsite, or there are aqua aerobics classes or pedallos on the private beach. The Carthage Restaurant serves a traditional buffet for breakfast and dinner or guests can dine at one of four other restaurants serving French- Tunisian fusion cuisine, poolside meals and pizzas. Tourists can try their luck in the Casino Caraibes, just 50 metres from the hotel and shop in the city centre which is one kilometre away. Port El Kantaoui, an upmarket town with smart marina, is six kilometres away and also offers a few golf courses. The local train station is 200 metres from the hotel and Monastir-Habib Bourguiba Airport is 20 kilometres and a 25-minute drive away.
