The Sol Y Mar Belvedere is an All-Inclusive resort with its own private beach, situated 20 kilometres from the centre of Sharm El Sheikh on Egypt's Red Sea coast. This three-floor hotel features 317 air-conditioned guestrooms decorated in contemporary hues of cream, black and red, with tiled floors and private terraces or balconies. All include satellite TV, phones, hairdryers, mini-fridges, safes and bathrooms with showers.
Guests can spend relaxing day swimming in the two large freeform pools, which are heated during winter, and sip drinks from the poolside bar. Sun loungers and beach towels are available free of charge at the pool and private beach. Health club facilities include a gym, sauna, steam bath and spa tub and there are two massage treatment rooms. Guests can enjoy daily programmes of entertainment, and live music, dancing and folklore shows are performed regularly in the amphitheatre in the evenings. The hotel has a main buffet restaurant and an à la carte restaurant for Mediterranean dining, as well as three bars; night owls can party into the small hours in the hotel disco. For children aged 4 to 12, the mini club offers supervised activities daily, and kids also have their own playground, beach playground and children's pool. Guests can enjoy access to two beach volleyball courts, beach tennis, and two tennis courts (surcharge applies for floodlights at night), as well as a multi- purpose court for basketball and football. The nearby beach has a diving centre and offers plenty of opportunities for water sports (surcharges apply). Practical amenities include laundry service, shopping on site, in-house doctor, 24-hour front desk and limo services. The resort of Sharm El Sheikh is 20 kilometres away and the national park is a 26-kilometre drive. Sharm El Sheikh Airport is 10 kilometres away with an approximate driving time of 10 minutes.
All-Inclusive plan - The All-Inclusive rate includes the following:
Room accommodations; buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner; all local alcoholic drinks and soft drinks from 10 AM to midnight; tea and cakes, afternoon snacks, ice creams for kids; use of two beach volleyball courts, beach tennis, beach soccer, multipurpose court, archery court, boccia, fitness centre, sauna, spa tub, steam room; kids' club; daily entertainment programme.
Not included: Premium wine and alcohol, à la carte restaurant, floodlit tennis, diving centre, massage services, water sports, babysitting services, transfers, transport, phone, fax and Internet usage, limo services, additional purchases.

The best way to get from the airport to the hotel is by private car or taxis which are readily available outside the arrivals terminal. Guests can walk to the beach. A hire car would be useful for trips to the resort centre and to explore the area. |
