The Sun Hotel is a modern, three-storey property lined with balconies and located adjacent to a private beach and 20 kilometres from the nightlife of Naema Bay. The 255 guestrooms are decorated in light colours with brightly patterned fabrics, wood furnishings and Egyptian cotton sheets. Practical amenities include a 24-hour front desk, around-the- clock room service, laundry facilities and a multilingual concierge service on hand to offer sightseeing assistance. Sharm El Sheik's downtown area, Naema Bay, offers bazaars, nightclubs and casinos, and is 20 kilometres away. The historic sites of Mount Sinai and St Catherine's Monastery are both 150 kilometres from the hotel. Sharm El Sheikh International Airport is ten kilometres away and takes approximately 20 minutes to reach by car.
