A large resort hotel, its design reflecting the region's historic architecture, the Cataract Pyramid Hotel is set in 20 acres of landscaped gardens and flanked by monumental, hundred-year old palm trees. With individually controlled air conditioning, the 398 guestrooms feature contemporary decor with fabrics and carpets in rich colours. All rooms have balconies or terraces overlooking the pool and gardens, satellite televisions, direct-dial telephones and Internet connections. Bathrooms come with bathrobes and slippers.
