The Four Seasons Nile Plaza is located on Cairo's Corniche promenade, offering panoramic views across the Nile and towards the 12th century citadel. It has 366 air-conditioned guestrooms over 21 floors, all of which are decorated with modern artworks, vases and objets d'art. Marble bathrooms have deep tubs, separate glass- enclosed showers, double sinks and mirrors, bathrobes, and WCs with telephones in separate alcoves. Patio doors open onto balconies, while further amenities include satellite television, multi-line telephones, wireless Internet and complimentary newspapers.
Guests can eat and drink overlooking the Nile at the hotel's two bars and five restaurants serving everything from fresh seafood to Egyptian and Mediterranean specialities, fresh-baked Italian breads and authentic Cantonese dishes. There are three outdoor swimming pools located on the roof terrace, surrounded by shaded alcoves, and 17 poolside cabanas offering large terraces, private sitting areas and their own individual showers and WCs. There is also a separate play pool for kids aged 4-12, as well as a games room with table tennis, pool table and video games. The onsite spa and wellness centre offers a comprehensive range of massages and natural spa treatments. It has 15 treatment rooms, and includes a couples suite, sauna, steam room, hot tub, relaxation area and indoor pool. More active guests can head for the 24-hour Health Club which has floor-to-ceiling windows offering views of the Nile, and offers a range of equipment, with certified trainers and fitness assessment counsellors on hand to advise. Staff at the 24-hour front desk can hep to arrange sightseeing tours: the Egyptian Museum is five kilometres away and the Museum of Islamic Art and the Khan el Khalili Bazaar are both within 10 kilometres. The Pyramids and Sphinx, with their nightly sound and light show, are 25 kilometres from the hotel. Cairo International Airport is 30 kilometres away with an approximate driving time of 45 minutes.

Driving Directions
Guests can take advantage of the hotel's complimentary airport pick-up and drop-off. Taxis and limousines are also available from the terminal building, a taxi fare to the hotel is approximately 15 USD, a limousine approximately 30 USD. An airport bus service operates from terminal one, leaving every 30 minutes during the day and every hour at night. One of the best ways to explore Cairo is by the inexpensive Metro system. Buses and minibuses are readily available, although taxis are a better option for visitors. Boats depart frequently for University, a landing over on the Giza side of the river. Every second boat continues south to Manial, Rhoda, Giza and Masr al-Qadima (old Cairo).
From the airport take El Oruba Avenue westbound and turn right onto Ramses Street. Continue over the 6th of October Bridge, through the Corniche El Nil and over the Kasr El Nile Bridge, where you will find the hotel on the left. |
